Book Reviews: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling

In the seventh and final book of the Harry Potter series, Harry and co. set out to defeat the Voldemort. Much of their journey revolves around finding the remaining Horcruxes, objects containing the Voldemort’s soul. They eventually manage to destroy three Horcruxes before a war breaks out at Hogwarts between Death Eaters and Hogwarts students. Harry is given a message through Severus Snape’s memories that he is to willingly die at Voldemort’s hands because he is a Horcrux. Harry sacrifices his life but instead is revived to return to the Battle of Hogwarts and defeat Voldemort. I would recommend this book to people who have read the first six Harry Potter books, because the storyline is very complex, and it’s almost impossible to fully understand the seventh book on its own.
